Boxing Day with the Grandchildren
It’s a lovely low-key day. I must be allergic to cats and dog although I have a cat. We total three cats and a dog here so it makes me wonder if that is what is causing the “cold” I have had since arrival nine days ago. I am blowing like crazy ! It keeps me lazily relaxed though. I am not sure if that is good or bad ! I took Annie out for a walk in her stroller yesterday as I thought the air would be good for both of us. And I will get out again today as the sun is bright. My niece is just coming in the door for an overnight visit - Older Son went back last evening and has fired up the wood stove at his log cabin. I love settings like that in the winter. So peaceful. I hope to get some time there this season. Younger Son called from Crossfield, Alberta and I think he and Mandy did fine this Christmas - their first together away from home. I keep reflecting on how much has changed over the past year and marvel at how I handled last Christmas as well as I did. Many blessings have found their way to me and those I love very much - both friends and family. A friend has been using my condo for the last week while I have been here and it has been so lov)ely for her. I am well pleased ! Love Barbara (Read Soul Gifts - download for free)
