Barbara J Gill is a literary and visual artist with a diverse, service-oriented background. She has committed to political, labour and human-rights activism most of her life. As a Canada/US full-service event planner in the eighties and nineties she was exposed to a multitude of sectors and divergent points of view. Barbara is a registered nurse by profession with particular experience in psychiatric and palliative settings.  

Barbara lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada and is mother to three and grandmother to two. She makes every effort to “walk the talk”. She has developed Shandarrah's Place as a means of promoting the healing arts.
