The editor of Soul Gifts: The World's Self-Help Book was Yvonne Wilson who also initially introduced Barbara to A Course in Miracles. When Barbara met Pauline Edward of Montreal Pauline agreed to become one of the contributors to Soul Gifts. She eventually encouraged Barbara to attend a speaking engagement of Gary Renard who was visiting Barbara's hometown . Gary brings the message of A Course in Miracles to his audiences. Barbara has made a decision to study the course more intently over the next year and a half (taking her to early 2010) and will be re-reading (for the third time) Renard's book The Disappearing Universe. Pauline Edward emphasized this quote from A Course in Miracles, "There is no point in trying to change the world. It is incapable of change because it is merely an effect. But there is indeed a point in changing your thoughts about the world. Here you are changing the cause. The effect will change automatically. ACIM W-pl.23.5:3-7 ... therefore, seek not to change the world but choose to change your mind about the world. Barbara found the material in Dr. Paul's work to be substantive and inspiring of personal growth. While the focus of the websites below relate to attracting a mate of the opposite sex and may appear at first blush to be commercial in nature, a great deal of the Mind OS can be applied to all life relationships.
