    Poetry

Placing thoughts and perceptions in poetic form has been cathartic. I began this pursuit when I was five or six years old.  While I do not write as much poetry as I once did, I still take pen to paper when my emotions are stirred. I also developed the following philosophy of living to help me better manage my life.

You.

You Can.

You Can Risk.

You Can Risk Change.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle. Be Giving.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle. Be Giving. Grow.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle. Be Giving. Grow. Pass it On.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle. Be Giving. Grow.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle. Be Giving.

You Can Risk Change. Be Gentle.

You Can Risk Change.

You Can Risk.

You Can.

 You.

This philosophy is expounded upon in Soul Gifts: The World's Self-Help Book. A synopsis was provided by Carol Desjarlais. She also named the exercise book which I designed to bring the philosophy to life for others ~ Barbara J. Gill.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Read Dalton Camp's thoughts on poetry and his favourite picks of my poetry.

Dr. Alfred Bailey, Co-founder of The Fiddlehead (Canada's longest standing literary journal) encouraged me greatly.

Prolific writer Dan Ross and I often exchanged thoughts on writing. Read here.

All poems are copyright of Barbara J. Gill. I hope you enjoy. Love Barbara
